What areas does New Earth Electrics cover?
We're based in Coomera and work across the Gold Coast, including Pimpama, Upper Coomera, Hope Island, Ormeau, Helensvale and the wider northern Gold Coast.
Are you a licensed electrician?
Yes — all work is carried out by Kieren, a licensed electrician, and completed to Australian standards.
Do you give free quotes?

Do you do both residential and commercial work?

Residential Electrical
Do you do small jobs like extra power points and lights?
Absolutely. No job is too small — from adding a power point or replacing a light fitting to installing ceiling fans, downlights and USB outlets, we handle it with the same care as a full rewire.
My switchboard still has old ceramic fuses. Should I upgrade?
If you've still got rewireable ceramic fuses, an upgrade to a modern switchboard with safety switches (RCDs) is strongly recommended. It protects your family from electric shock and is required when you add major appliances or solar.
Can you install solar and a home battery?
Yes. We design and install solar and battery systems sized to your home and budget, including inverter setup and switchboard integration, so you store and use more of your own power.
Do you install split-system air conditioning?
We handle the full electrical side of split-system installs — dedicated circuits, isolators and switchboard capacity — and coordinate the mounting and refrigeration so it's all done to standard.
Are safety switches a legal requirement?
Safety switches are required on power and lighting circuits in Queensland homes. We can test your existing protection and add RCDs where they're missing during any switchboard work.
Can you wire up security cameras and alarms?
Yes — we run the cabling and power for security cameras, alarms and intercoms as part of our residential service, so everything's neatly installed and reliable.
Commercial Electrical
Can you work around our business hours?
Yes. We schedule fit-outs, maintenance and upgrades to minimise disruption — including early starts and out-of-hours work where a shutdown isn't practical.
Do you handle office fit-outs from scratch?
We do full commercial fit-outs — lighting, power, data rough-in, switchboards and testing — coordinated with your builder or shopfitter so the electrical side never holds up the job.
Can you install EV charging stations for our fleet or staff?
Yes. We install EV charging stations for workplaces, fleets and customer car parks, sized correctly to your supply with load management where needed.
Do you service fleet vehicle electricals?
We fit out and repair fleet and work-vehicle electrical systems — dual batteries, inverters, lighting, beacons and accessory wiring — built to take a beating.
Can you add solar and battery to our commercial premises?
Absolutely. Commercial solar, batteries and inverters can cut running costs significantly. We assess your roof, usage and switchboard and design a system that pays its way.
Do you offer ongoing electrical maintenance?
Yes — we provide scheduled and reactive maintenance for offices, shops and worksites, keeping you compliant and avoiding downtime.
Off-Grid, Marine & 4WD
Can you design a complete off-grid power system?
Yes. We design and install full off-grid solar and battery systems — panels, batteries, inverters, charging and monitoring — sized to run your property, cabin or vessel independently of the grid.
Do you do marine electrical work?
We do. From lighting and navigation power to full battery and charging systems, our marine electrical work is built to perform in the harshest conditions at sea.
Can you fit out a caravan or 4WD?
Definitely — dual-battery systems, 12V power, lithium upgrades, solar, inverters, lighting and accessory wiring for caravans, campers and touring 4WDs, all neatly installed and reliable.
Will my off-grid system handle running out of sun?
We size battery storage and charging to your real usage and add backup charging options where needed, so a few cloudy days won't leave you without power.
Do you use lithium batteries?
Where it suits the application we install modern lithium (LiFePO4) systems for their weight, depth-of-discharge and lifespan advantages, with the right charging and protection set up correctly.
Can you upgrade an existing setup rather than start over?
Often, yes. We assess what you've already got and upgrade the weak points — batteries, solar input, inverter or wiring — rather than replacing everything unnecessarily.
