These terms set out the basis on which JGH Plumbing ("we", "us", "our") provides plumbing, gas fitting and bathroom renovation services, and the basis on which you may use this website. By engaging us or using this site, you agree to these terms.
Quotes are free and provided in good faith based on the information available to us. Unless stated otherwise, a quote is valid for 30 days. Final pricing may be adjusted where the scope of work changes, where hidden issues are uncovered once work begins (for example concealed pipework or pre-existing damage), or where you request additional work. We will always discuss and seek your approval before carrying out work that falls outside the agreed quote.
When you book a job, you agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the work area at the agreed time. If you need to reschedule or cancel, please give us as much notice as possible. Fees may apply for missed appointments or call-outs where access could not be provided. Emergency call-outs and after-hours work may attract an additional fee, which we will confirm with you before attending.
Payment is due on completion of the work unless other terms have been agreed in writing. For larger projects such as bathroom renovations, a deposit and progress payments may apply as set out in your quote. We accept the payment methods advised at the time of booking. Title in any materials supplied remains with us until payment is received in full.
Our workmanship is backed by a lifetime workmanship warranty and a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If a defect in our workmanship arises, contact us and we will rectify it. This warranty covers our labour and workmanship; manufacturer warranties on fixtures, appliances and materials are provided by the relevant manufacturer. The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, normal wear and tear, alterations by others, or issues outside the scope of the work we carried out.
We hold the appropriate plumbing and gas licensing for the work we undertake and carry out all work in accordance with the relevant standards and regulations. Where a job requires certification or compliance documentation, we will provide it as required.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to those rights, our liability for any claim arising from our services is limited, at our option, to re-supplying the services or paying the cost of having the services re-supplied. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
