General questions
About Garden Goats Australia
Which areas does Garden Goats Australia cover?
We service homes and properties right across the Brisbane and Ipswich region, including the Ipswich City Council area. If you're unsure whether your suburb is covered, send us a quick enquiry with your address and we'll confirm for you straight away.
How does your pricing work?
We quote each job based on the size of the yard and what it needs, so you get an honest, tailored price rather than a vague guess. Routine services run to a set price that already includes clipping disposal. Add-ons like hedging, pre-mow clearance or heavy overgrowth are quoted separately and always explained before we start.
Is Garden Goats Australia insured?
Yes — Garden Goats Australia is fully insured, so you can hand the yard over with complete peace of mind. It's one of the reasons our customers are comfortable leaving us to it without needing to be home for every visit.
Do you offer one-off jobs or only regular maintenance?
Both. Whether you need a single refresh to get a tired yard back under control, or an ongoing routine that keeps it looking sharp year-round, we can help. Plenty of customers start with a one-off tidy and move onto a regular schedule once they see the difference.
How do I book a service or get a quote?
The easiest way is to send an enquiry through our website or give us a call on (07) 3180 3864. Tell us your address and what the yard needs, add a couple of photos if you can, and we'll come back to you with a clear quote and the next available visit.
What payment options are available?
We keep payment straightforward and transparent. For larger jobs, Afterpay is available on services over $500, so you can spread the cost. We'll confirm the available options when we send your quote.
Do you remove green waste and grass clippings?
Grass clipping disposal is included in the set price of our routine service packages. For larger clean-ups or excess green waste, removal is charged in 500L increments, and skip bin hire can be arranged on request for bigger jobs.
Can you help get a rental property ready for inspection?
Definitely. Our rental and vacate yard cleans are built exactly for that — we mow, edge, clear overgrowth and tidy the garden so the property presents clean and inspection-ready, which helps protect your bond at the end of a lease.
Lawn & Garden Care
Routine Lawn & Garden Care
How often should I book routine lawn and garden care?
Most Brisbane and Ipswich lawns do best on a fortnightly visit through the warmer growing months and a monthly visit over the cooler months. We help you settle on a rhythm that keeps the yard looking sharp without paying for cuts you don't need. Once you're on a routine, you'll have the same reliable schedule each time so the yard never gets away from you.
What is included in a routine visit?
A standard visit covers mowing, edging and whipper-snipping, plus a tidy of the garden beds and a blow-down of paths and hard surfaces. Grass clippings are cleared as part of the set-price service. If the yard needs extra attention — heavy overgrowth or a pre-mow clearance — we'll always talk it through with you before we start.
Do I need to be home when you visit?
No. Once we've set up your routine and we have access to the yard, you don't need to be home for us to mow and tidy. We'll let you know when we've been and flag anything worth your attention. Plenty of our regular customers never have to think about the lawn — that's the whole idea.
Do you remove the grass clippings?
Yes. Grass clipping disposal is included in the set price of our routine service packages. If a visit produces a large volume of extra green waste — for example after a long gap between cuts — any excess is charged separately in 500L increments, and we'll always mention it first.
Can you maintain garden beds as well as the lawn?
Absolutely. Routine care is about the whole outdoor space, not just the turf. We tidy garden beds, keep edges crisp and keep growth in check so the yard reads as cared-for. For bigger jobs like hedging, tree pruning or hand-weeding, those are available as add-ons and we'll quote them up front.
What areas do you cover for lawn and garden care?
We service homes right across the Brisbane and Ipswich region, including the Ipswich City Council area. If you're not sure whether your suburb is covered, send us a quick enquiry with your address and we'll confirm straight away.
Rental & Vacate Cleans
Rental & Vacate Yard Cleans
What is a vacate yard clean?
A vacate yard clean gets the outdoor areas of a rental property back to inspection standard at the end of a lease. We mow, edge, clear overgrowth and tidy the garden so the yard presents clean, safe and ready to hand back. It's the outdoor equivalent of an end-of-lease clean, and it helps protect your bond.
Can you get a property ready in time for an inspection?
In most cases, yes. We know vacate cleans run to a deadline, so we prioritise them and aim to get the yard inspection-ready in a single visit. The sooner you book, the easier it is to lock in a slot — send us the address and your inspection date and we'll let you know what's possible.
Do you work with property managers and real estate agents?
Yes. We regularly help agents and property managers get yards presentable between tenants. We can liaise on access and timing, and leave the outdoor space tidy and photo-ready. If you manage multiple properties, we're happy to set up a simple, repeatable process with you.
What if the yard is badly overgrown?
That's a common situation at the end of a lease and it's no problem. Where grass is very long or the yard has been neglected, a heavy-overgrowth pass may apply because multiple or slower cuts are needed to clear it safely. We'll assess it, explain what's involved and quote it before we begin — no surprises.
How much does a rental or vacate clean cost?
Pricing depends on the size of the yard and how much clearing is needed, so we quote each job individually. Send us the property address and a couple of photos if you can, and we'll give you a clear, honest price. Pre-mow clearance or heavy-overgrowth work, if needed, is always quoted separately and up front.
Which areas do you cover for vacate cleans?
We handle rental and vacate yard cleans across Brisbane and Ipswich, including the Ipswich City Council region. If your property sits just outside those areas, get in touch anyway — we'll let you know if we can help.
Sale-Ready Grooming
Sale-Ready Garden Grooming
What is sale-ready garden grooming?
Sale-ready grooming is detailed outdoor preparation for a property going on the market. We bring the lawn, hedges and garden beds up to their best and add the finishing touches so the home photographs beautifully and makes a strong first impression on buyers. Curb appeal does a lot of quiet work in a sale — this is about getting it right.
How far before listing should I book?
Ideally a week or two before your photography date, so the lawn has time to settle and look its best on camera. If you've left it later than that, still get in touch — we'll do everything we can to get the yard photo-ready in time. A second light touch-up before the first open home is also worth considering.
Do you work with real estate agents and stylists?
Yes. We're happy to coordinate with your agent or property stylist so the outdoor presentation matches the rest of the campaign. We can work to a photography deadline and a separate open-home schedule, and keep the yard looking sharp across the listing period.
Can you keep the garden looking good across the whole campaign?
We can. A property can be on the market for several weeks, so we can schedule maintenance visits through the campaign to keep lawns and hedges crisp for every open home and inspection. We'll tailor the frequency to how your sale is tracking.
What does sale-ready grooming include?
It covers detailed lawn care, hedge and edge work, garden bed tidying and the final detailing that makes a yard look intentional rather than just mowed. The goal is a clean, styled outdoor space that supports the asking price. We'll walk the property with you and agree the scope before we start.
Which areas do you cover?
We provide sale-ready garden grooming across the Brisbane and Ipswich region, including the Ipswich City Council area. If you're preparing a property just outside that zone, send us the details and we'll let you know if we can assist.
NDIS & Aged Care
NDIS & Aged Care Outdoor Care
Do you provide lawn and garden care for NDIS participants?
Yes. We offer friendly, dependable outdoor care for NDIS participants and the support providers who coordinate their services. We keep lawns and gardens safe, accessible and well maintained, with routine scheduling and clear communication so everyone knows what to expect.
Can support coordinators or providers arrange a service?
They can. We're happy to deal directly with support coordinators, plan managers or providers to set up and manage outdoor care on a participant's behalf. We'll keep communication clear and consistent so the arrangement is easy to manage and review.
What does NDIS and aged care outdoor care involve?
It's routine lawn and garden maintenance delivered with care and respect — mowing, edging, tidying garden beds and keeping pathways clear and safe to move around. We focus on dependable scheduling and a calm, considerate visit, because consistency matters most for the people we look after.
How is the service scheduled?
On a routine you can rely on. We set a regular visit pattern that suits the participant and their plan, and we turn up when we say we will. If anything needs to change, we communicate it early so there are no surprises for the participant or their support team.
Is the service tailored to each person?
Yes. Every yard and every participant is different, so we take the time to understand access, preferences and any particular needs before we set up a routine. The aim is a respectful, low-stress service that keeps the outdoor space safe and well kept.
Which areas do you cover for NDIS and aged care work?
We provide NDIS and aged care outdoor care across Brisbane and Ipswich, including the Ipswich City Council region. If you're arranging support just outside that area, get in touch and we'll let you know whether we can help.
