Yes. All notifiable electrical work in Queensland requires a Certificate of Testing and Compliance (COTR), which we provide at job completion. This document is required for insurance claims and real estate transactions.

Costs vary by job type and complexity. Simple jobs like installing a power point or light fitting are relatively low cost; larger jobs like switchboard upgrades or solar installations require a detailed quote. We always provide a clear quote before starting work.

Since 2022, all properties being sold or leased must have photoelectric, interconnected smoke alarms installed in every bedroom, hallways and on every storey. All properties in Queensland must be fully compliant by 2027. Older battery-only or ionisation alarms no longer meet Queensland's requirements.
Yes. Queensland law requires landlords to install compliant photoelectric, interconnected smoke alarms before any new or renewed lease. Failure to comply can result in significant penalties. We can inspect and upgrade your rental property quickly and cost-effectively.
Yes. Federal government STC (Small-scale Technology Certificate) rebates reduce the upfront cost of solar installations. The rebate amount depends on your system size, location and the current market price for STCs. We calculate your applicable rebate as part of every solar quote.
Most Brisbane residential solar systems pay back their cost in 4–7 years, depending on system size, energy usage and tariff. After that, the electricity savings are essentially free money for the remaining 20+ year lifespan of the panels.
