Everything you might want to know before starting a project with Enthral.

Working with Enthral

What kind of agency is Enthral?

Enthral is a storytelling agency specialising in PR and content. We sit between a creative studio, a production house and a communications agency — planning the story, making the content and placing it where audiences will see it. Founded in 2013, our point of difference is journalistic DNA: a team that has spent more time in newsrooms than boardrooms.

Where is Enthral based?

We have studios in four cities — Melbourne (our head office in South Melbourne), Sydney in McMahons Point, Brisbane in Spring Hill, and Auckland in Mt Eden. We work with brands right across Australia and regularly travel interstate and internationally for shoots and projects.

Do I need a finished brief before I get in touch?

Not at all. Whether you have a brief ready to roll or you’re still at concept stage, we’d love to hear from you. Many projects start as a conversation about a goal or a problem, and we help shape the story from there. The earlier we’re involved, the more strategic value we can add.

How do projects usually start?

Get in touch through the connect form or give us a call. We’ll set up a conversation to understand your goals, audience and timing, then come back with a recommended approach and scope. From there we move into strategy and creative development before any production begins.

Our services

What services does Enthral offer?

We offer fourteen capabilities under one roof: content strategy, creative development, end-to-end content production (video, photography and copywriting), TVCs, earned media and public relations, crisis and issues management, social content, podcasts, motion graphics and animation, video news release production and distribution, media training, talent negotiation and acquisition, event production and management, and reporting.

Can you produce video content end to end?

Yes. Production is core to what we do — concept, scripting, shooting, editing, motion graphics, animation and copywriting are all handled in-studio. We produce everything from social content and branded films to full TVCs, and we can manage talent and events around the shoot as well.

What is a Video News Release and do you distribute them?

A Video News Release (VNR) is a broadcast-ready news package designed to be picked up by media outlets. We produce VNRs and distribute them through our media network, helping your story become part of the earned news agenda rather than relying on paid placement alone.

Do you offer media training?

Yes. We train ambassadors and executives to master their media performances — preparing spokespeople for interviews and public appearances so they’re confident, on-message and ready for any question.

Can Enthral help in a crisis?

We provide crisis and issues management, drawing on newsroom experience to give calm, fast counsel when the news cycle turns. We help brands respond clearly and protect their reputation under pressure.

Approach & results

How does Enthral approach a project?

We take a 360-degree approach that considers everything from planning and strategy through to creative and production. Every project is grounded in strategy and insights first — understanding the audience and the cultural moment — before we develop the creative and move into production and distribution.

How do you measure whether content worked?

Reporting is one of our capabilities. At the end of an engagement we provide clear measurement on what the content moved — so you can see the impact rather than guess at it. The specific metrics depend on the goals we set at the start of the project.

Which brands has Enthral worked with?

We’ve worked with some of the biggest and best-known brands in Australia and globally, including McDonald’s, Mercedes-Benz, Virgin Australia, Toyota, Kia, NAB, PepsiCo, Mars, WWF, Country Road and many more.
