Who does the cleaning — is it a franchise or owner-operated?
Daro's is fully owner-operated. Daro personally attends every job — no subcontractors, no strangers. When you book, you get Daro.
What areas do you service?
We service Brisbane, Logan, Chermside, Ipswich, Parkinson, Browns Plains, Jimboomba, Loganholme, Calamvale and Springwood. If you're unsure whether we cover your suburb, call 0481 159 932.
What services do you offer?
Carpet cleaning, bond and end of lease cleaning, pest control, couch and upholstery cleaning, mattress cleaning and rug cleaning.
Can I book multiple services in one visit?
Yes. Many customers combine carpet cleaning with a bond clean, or pest control with carpet cleaning, in a single visit. Mention what you need when you get a quote.
What are your operating hours?
Monday to Saturday, 7am to 6pm.

Carpet Cleaning

What carpet cleaning method do you use?
Hot water extraction — high-temperature water is injected into carpet fibres under pressure, then immediately extracted along with loosened soil, allergens and stains. It's the most effective method recommended by carpet manufacturers.
How long does carpet cleaning take?
Most homes take 1–3 hours depending on size and number of rooms. Carpets are typically dry within 2–4 hours after the clean.
Do you clean all carpet types?
Yes — synthetic, wool, berber, loop-pile, cut-pile and more. Wool carpets require adjusted temperature and pressure, which Daro accounts for.
Can you remove pet stains and odours?
Yes. Hot water extraction is effective at removing pet-related staining and odours. For severe odour from long-term pet use, an odour neutraliser treatment can be applied.
How often should carpets be professionally cleaned?
With pets or children in the home, every 6–12 months. For adults-only homes without pets, 12–18 months is a reasonable interval.
Do I need to move furniture before you arrive?
Clear light furniture if possible. For heavy pieces like large sofas and beds, clear the floor areas you want cleaned. Daro can advise at the time of booking.

Bond & End of Lease Cleaning

What is bond cleaning?
Bond cleaning is a comprehensive clean of a rental property on vacate, designed to return it to the condition documented at the start of your tenancy so you can recover your rental bond.
Does bond cleaning include carpet cleaning?
Carpet steam cleaning can be added to a bond clean at a combined rate. Many agents require it separately — Daro offers both and provides combined quotes.
What if the real estate agent isn't satisfied?
If the agent flags a cleaning issue related to the work done, Daro will return to rectify it. Contact us as soon as the inspection report comes through.
Do I need to be present for the bond clean?
No. Many customers provide a key and collect it once the clean is complete. Just ensure the property is vacated with water and power connected.
Can you combine bond cleaning and pest control?
Yes. Many agents and landlords require both on vacate. Daro offers combined bookings — just mention both when requesting a quote.
How long does a bond clean take?
A standard 3-bedroom house typically takes 4–7 hours depending on condition and inclusions. Daro provides a time estimate when you book.

Pest Control

Is pest control safe for children and pets?
Professional treatments use registered residential products. You'll need to vacate for 2–4 hours after spraying and keep pets off treated surfaces until dry. Full instructions are provided at the time of treatment.
What pests do you treat?
Cockroaches, ants, spiders, fleas, silverfish, wasps, rodents and general pests. Contact us about your specific situation.
How do I prepare for a pest treatment?
Clear under sinks and remove items from cupboard bases. For flea treatments, vacuum carpets thoroughly and wash pet bedding beforehand.
Do I need pest control when doing an end-of-lease?
Many landlords and property managers require a flea treatment if pets have been in the property. General pest control is also commonly required. Daro can advise and provide a combined quote with the bond clean.
How often should I have pest control done?
For Brisbane's subtropical climate, a yearly general pest treatment is common for prevention. For active infestations, timing depends on pest type and severity.
Do you treat for termites?
General pest treatments do not include termite work. Termite treatment requires a separate inspection and plan — contact us to discuss.

Couch & Upholstery Cleaning

Can you clean leather couches?
Hot water extraction is designed for fabric upholstery. Leather and faux leather require different techniques. Contact Daro to discuss your furniture before booking.
How long until the couch is dry?
Usually 2–4 hours. Good ventilation — open windows and a fan — speeds up drying.
Will you remove pet odour from the sofa?
Yes. Hot water extraction removes embedded pet odours effectively. For severe cases, an odour neutraliser is applied.
What fabric types do you clean?
Cotton, polyester, microfibre, velvet, chenille and most standard upholstery fabrics. Daro will assess your furniture at the time of booking.
Can upholstery cleaning be combined with carpet cleaning?
Yes — it's a popular combination. Mention both when you get a quote and Daro can do both in the same visit.
How often should I have my sofa professionally cleaned?
Every 12 months for households with pets or children; 18–24 months for adults-only homes.
