Who will carry out my carpentry work?
Concept Carpentry is owner-led by Harvey Lee. After more than two decades in Brisbane, Harvey runs the business solo so you deal directly with the tradesman doing the work — the same hands-on attention from quote to finish.
What areas around Brisbane do you cover?
Harvey works across The Gap, Ashgrove, Bardon, Keperra, Mitchelton, Paddington and the surrounding inner-western suburbs of Brisbane.
Do you take on small jobs?
Yes. “No job is too small” has always been the promise. Going solo means Harvey can focus on the smaller carpentry jobs that larger teams often avoid, with the same eye for detail as a major renovation.
What kind of carpentry do you do?
Renovations, decks and stairs, kitchens, bathrooms, garden and outdoor structures, custom joinery and cabinets, and commercial carpentry. The gallery shows real examples from each.
Are you licensed?
Concept Carpentry Pty Ltd is a registered building and carpentry company in The Gap (ACN 146 583 557, QBSA Licence No. 1196737).
How do I get a quote?

Has Harvey worked overseas?
Yes. During nine years of his career Harvey set up and managed Atlantic Builders in Belgium, Europe, specialising in renovation and restoration of historic houses, shops and pubs.
What is HOUT Creations?
HOUT Creations is Harvey's own range of handcrafted timber designs, made in his workshop from recycled, off-cut or responsibly sourced timber. Each piece is unique and carries the HOUT tag.
