What is included in the price of my tour?

Your tour price includes the Segway, full safety gear (helmet provided), 30 minutes of one-on-one training with an expert local guide, the full guided tour, and photo opportunities at every major checkpoint. Small group sizes ensure you get personal attention from start to finish.

Where do tours depart from?

All Brisbane tours depart from Riverlife Adventure Centre, located at Naval Stores, Kangaroo Point Cliffs Drive, Kangaroo Point QLD 4169. Look for our Segway tour banner and friendly guides at the meeting point. Gold Coast tours depart from Kennards Storage, 1/3 Olympic Court, Southport QLD 4215.

How long are the Segway tours?

Tour durations vary by experience. Our Brisbane Morning Adventure and Night Adventure run for 2.5 hours each. The Afternoon Thrill Ride and Sunset Thrill Ride are 2 hours each. The Gold Coast Adventure Tour is a 2-hour experience. Every tour includes 30 minutes of training at the start.

Do I need any prior experience to ride a Segway?

Not at all. Every tour begins with a 30-minute training session led by our expert guides. The i2 Segway is designed to balance you: you don't have to balance it. Most riders feel confident within the first few minutes of training.

What if the weather is bad on the day of my tour?

Tours operate in light rain: we'll let you know if you need to bring a raincoat. In case of severe weather or unsafe conditions, the tour will be rescheduled or fully refunded at our discretion. Your safety is our top priority.

What's your cancellation policy?

If you cancel more than 24 hours before your tour, you'll receive a full refund minus processing fees. Cancellations within 24 hours of the tour, or no-shows, are non-refundable. Cancellations must be made via phone or email. See our Terms & Conditions for the full policy.

Are tours suitable for families and children?

Yes: Segway tours are family-friendly for guests aged 12 and up. Riders must weigh between 45 kg and 120 kg. Guests under 18 need a waiver signed by a parent or guardian. Family packages of four are available on most tours at a discounted rate.

Can I bring a bag or backpack on the tour?

Personal items should be kept to a minimum: phones and small cameras are fine, but loose bags or large backpacks are not permitted on Segways for safety reasons. There is no secure storage at the meeting point, so we recommend leaving valuables in your accommodation.

Do you offer group, corporate or private tours?

Are gift vouchers available?

Yes: gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from purchase, non-refundable and non-transferable. They make a fantastic present for anyone who loves adventure, sightseeing or trying something new. Contact us directly to arrange a gift voucher.

What should I wear for the Segway tour?

Wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes. It's also a good idea to bring a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen for sun protection.

Is there an age or weight limit for the tour?

Yes: participants must be at least 12 years old and weigh under 120 kg. Guests under 18 need a waiver signed by a parent or guardian.

Do I need prior experience to join the tour?

No prior experience is needed. The tour includes a 30-minute training session to ensure you feel confident and safe on the Segway.

What happens if it rains on the day of the tour?

Are there any health restrictions for participants?

The tour is not recommended for pregnant guests or those with mobility issues. Participants should be able to step on and off the Segway without assistance.

Yes, you can bring your camera or phone. There will be plenty of opportunities to take photos and videos during the tour.
