Which suburbs do you service?
Kal services most postcodes within Greater Brisbane, Ipswich, Moreton Bay, Redlands, Scenic Rim and Logan. Remote properties or difficult access can attract a small additional fee, so mention access details when enquiring.
Why should I choose Kal's Carpet Cleaning?
When you book Kal's Carpet Cleaning, you get Kal. The source FAQ says there are no contractors, no call centres and no surprises - just personalised, good old-fashioned service from start to finish.
What are your operating hours?
Standard hours are 6am to 4pm, Monday to Saturday. Bookings outside those hours may be possible by request, with additional fees applying.
How long will it take?
Every job varies because Kal spends extra time on areas that need it. As a rough guide, a standard four-bedroom carpet clean or four-seater couch is about two hours; most split systems and mattresses take about one hour each.
How long will it take to dry?
Drying depends on the job, weather and fibre type. Most carpets can be walked on immediately and are fully dry in around three hours. Couches are usually three to four hours, air conditioners can be used immediately, and mattresses vary from one to six hours.
Do I need to move my furniture before the clean?
Clear the carpets as much as practical before arrival. Large, heavy, fragile or difficult items are usually best left in place for Kal to clean around or moved before he arrives. Small furniture help can be arranged in advance and may cost extra.
What does the 7 day satisfaction guarantee cover?
Kal says he never leaves until the clean is completed to the best of his ability. If you are dissatisfied, he will return within seven days and complete the clean again free of charge.
Will all the stains come out?
Kal will do his best to remove stains and traffic patterns, but some substances permanently discolour fibres and some fibres may already be damaged by traffic or sunlight. He will try to identify and explain likely permanent stains before starting.
What is included in each clean?
Each service page explains the relevant process, from carpet dry cleaning and extraction through to upholstery, air conditioner and mattress cleaning steps.
Do I need to be present while you're cleaning?
It is up to you. You can be present, but it is not required. If you will not be there, tell Kal in advance so property access and payment arrangements can be made.
Are same-day call-outs available?
Same-day call-outs are available subject to availability and may incur an additional fee. The source FAQ says same-day requests are phone-only.
What is considered a standard room size?
A standard room is up to 12 square metres, slightly larger than an average Australian bedroom. Large lounge or dining areas are usually considered two rooms, and oversized rooms may attract a small additional fee.
Do you have insurance?
Yes. The source FAQ states that Kal's Carpet Cleaning is fully insured to industry standard.
What is the best way to pay?
Payment can be made by cash, EFTPOS or credit card on the day. Post-paid invoicing is only available when previously arranged.
