Carpet Cleaning

How often should I have my carpets professionally cleaned?
We recommend professional cleaning every 12–18 months for most households. If you have pets, young children, or allergy sufferers in the home, every 6 months is ideal. Regular vacuuming helps maintain appearance between professional cleans.
What cleaning method do you use?
We use hot-water extraction (commonly called steam cleaning), which is the most effective method for deep-cleaning carpet fibres. It removes embedded dirt, allergens, bacteria, and odours — not just surface grime. Our industrial equipment extracts the majority of moisture during the process.
How long does carpet take to dry after cleaning?
Most carpets are dry within 4–6 hours with good ventilation. Opening windows, turning on ceiling fans, and keeping foot traffic off the carpet for the first couple of hours will speed up drying significantly.
Can you remove pet stains and odours from carpets?
Yes. We use specialist enzyme-based treatments that break down pet urine, dander, and odour compounds at the fibre level — not just masking the smell. Heavily set stains may require multiple treatments. We'll be upfront about expectations during booking.
Do I need to vacuum before you arrive?
A light vacuum beforehand is helpful but not essential — we always pre-vacuum as part of our process. Moving large furniture before we arrive is appreciated but we can often help with lighter pieces.
Are your cleaning products safe for children and pets?
Yes. We use professional-grade, environmentally responsible products that are safe for families once dry. We'll let you know when it's safe to allow children and pets back onto cleaned areas — typically 2–4 hours.

Bond & End-of-Lease Cleaning

Do you guarantee bond return?
Yes — absolutely. We offer a 100% bond back guarantee. If your property manager flags any area during the exit inspection, we return to re-clean those areas at no additional charge. Our goal is to get your bond returned in full.
What's included in your bond clean?
Everything your agent will check: full kitchen deep-clean (oven, rangehood, cupboards, benchtops, sink), all bathrooms and toilets, carpet steam cleaning, hard floors, walls (spot cleaning), windows and tracks, light fittings, ceiling fans, skirting boards, built-in wardrobes, laundry, balcony, and garage. We follow the REIQ exit-report checklist.
How long does bond cleaning take?
A 3-bedroom home typically takes 4–8 hours depending on its size and condition. We'll give you a realistic time estimate when you book so you can plan your moving day accordingly.
Do I need to be present?
Not at all. Many tenants hand over keys on the day and head to their new home. We complete the clean, secure the property, and arrange key return. You just need to ensure we have access on the agreed date and that utilities (power and water) are still connected.
Is carpet steam cleaning included in bond cleaning?
Yes. Professional carpet steam cleaning is included in our bond clean package for all carpeted rooms at no extra cost.

Upholstery Cleaning

What types of furniture do you clean?
We clean all fabric sofas, lounge suites, armchairs, dining chairs, ottomans, headboards, and most other upholstered furniture. We assess the fabric type first and use the appropriate extraction method for the best and safest result.
Can you clean leather sofas?
Yes, we offer specialist leather cleaning and conditioning as well. Leather requires different products and techniques to fabric — we'll confirm the right treatment for your furniture when you enquire.
How long does upholstery take to dry?
Most fabric upholstery dries in 2–4 hours with good ventilation. In humid QLD weather or for heavily soaked cushions, allow up to 6 hours. We use professional-grade extraction to minimise residual moisture.
Will cleaning shrink or damage my sofa fabric?
We always assess fabric type before choosing a method and test in an inconspicuous spot. Delicate fabrics that can't be wet-cleaned are treated with dry-extraction or encapsulation methods. We'll tell you upfront if a fabric can't be safely cleaned with our equipment.

Commercial & Office Cleaning

Do you offer regular commercial cleaning contracts?
Yes. We provide daily, weekly, fortnightly and monthly commercial cleaning services for offices, retail spaces, body corporates, and other commercial properties. Contact us to discuss a schedule and tailored quote.
Can you clean outside business hours?
Yes. We can schedule early morning, evening, or weekend cleans to minimise disruption to your business operations. Just let us know your preferred time window when you enquire.
Are you fully insured for commercial work?
Yes. Clean Touch Australia is fully insured for both residential and commercial cleaning. We're happy to provide insurance documentation on request.
